Image resolution in 3d

17 Dec 2018, 17:45

Hello,

I got a problem with the resolution of images. I was making an app where the user can move the ui around in 3d-Space and zoom into the gui to view images.
The problem was that the images are blurry if the user zooms in.

My images have a resolution of round about 1024 - 2048 pixels. Is there a method to upscale them when the user zooms in?

Thanks Michael

There is no automatic solution for this. But you can change the RenderTexture dimensions on demand and adjust the Noesis view. We have a few clients doing that.

Thanks for the reply.

I think a solution for my cas is that i dont zoom into the gui but grow the the size of the image to show it the user.
I already uesed a RenderTexture with the highest possible dimensions.

I am not sure to be following here. I thought that when you say "when the user zooms in", you mean the user moves in 3D closer to the panel where the UI is being rendered.

Could you attach a few images showing your scenario?
