Inspector tool

12 Jun 2017, 08:57

Hi,

Is there any ready-to-use inspector tool for NoesisGUI, similar to WPF inspector or WPF snoop ?

There is still no such tool...
I would like to have it integrated into NoesisGUI as a debug overlay feature (in the same way as we could turn on/off NoesisGUI wireframe rendering, etc).

I see.

For me, I need to browse the visual tree and change the properties when debugging. Like people usually do when doing HTML/Javascript development on browsers.

This is planned for the next major release of Noesis. We are working to provide a powerful profile (we already have an internal version for cpu/gpu & memory) including an inspector for the visual tree. Hot modifications to properties are also planned.

We don't know yet when this feature will be available, probably during this year.

Ok, cool. Our UI is very complex and the ability to hot edit the properties will greatly improve the productivity.
